What stays on your device
Your scripts are stored on your iPhone or iPad and in your own iCloud (the CloudKit private database tied to your Apple Account), so they sync between your devices.
Voice follow
Voice follow uses Apple's speech recognition on the device. Your audio is not sent to a server. The first time you use it, iOS may download Apple's language model.
Camera and microphone
The camera and microphone are used only while you rehearse or record. Takes are saved to your Photos library.
The iPhone remote
The iPhone remote talks to the iPad over your local network (Bonjour, peer to peer).
Suggest cues
Where Apple Intelligence is available, Suggest cues runs on the device. If you enter your own DeepSeek API key, the text of your script is sent to DeepSeek (api.deepseek.com) so it can suggest cues, and DeepSeek's privacy policy applies to it. This happens only if you add a key. The key is stored in your device's keychain.
Google Drive backup
Google Drive backup is optional. If you choose it, your scripts are sent to your own Google Drive and nowhere else.
Purchases
Purchases and subscriptions are handled by Apple.
